Certification
Typically involves an assessment designed to validate knowledge or skills defined by the issuing organization.

Certificate of Completion
Shows that a learner completed a course. It does not automatically represent professional certification, academic credit or licensure.

A shareable digital record of a learning achievement, often awarded after completing required learning activities or assessments.
